It was real base, but it was shutdown years ago.
It certainly does exist and there should be no arguments in favour of it, because it’s dangerous and shameful. I strongly disagree with everything going on in there.
Oh yes area 51 does EXIST,that is a fact and is not in dispute any longer.The real mystery is what do they do there and what do they have there.I used to live in Vegas and my buddies and I have scoped the base out(from a LONG way away) It is there.That is all I can verify for you.

There’s no debate on the existence of Area 51. Given that it’s still a no fly zone I’d say it’s even still active.
The stories about it are just those: stories.
There are no extraterrestrial vehicles or remains there. The “Roswell alien” that formed the public conception of the “greys” is most likely a test dummy rigged with sensors. At that time they were testing the effects of high altitudes on human beings, and they didn’t have the microchips that we have today. Functional sensors such as thermometers, barometers, etc. and the medium to store the data would have resulted in a big bulbous head on a test dummy.
The “skin” was the closest thing they had to synthetic skin in that era, or it may have even been pig skin given its similarity in consistency to human flesh. Naturally they would want to make sure that the pressure changes wouldn’t rip a man’s flesh open, and there may have even been animal organs inside to test the effects on a person’s internal organs.
The reason for the secrecy is because they build and test aircraft, weapons, and maybe even land vehicles for the military. Those advances would be useless if the general public knew about them, as other nations would be able to develop countermeasures against them.
